Dr. McDonald is a dedicated optometrist with a passion for helping patients achieve their best possible vision. Born and raised in Southern California, he has always loved staying active and exploring the outdoors. He earned his undergraduate degree in Hawaii before completing his Doctorate at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.
After practicing in Washington state for four years, Dr. McDonald recently relocated to Sparks to be closer to his family in California without having to fight the traffic. He's excited to enjoy the area’s sunny weather with close access to mountain activities. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. McDonald takes pride in providing compassionate and comprehensive eye care to patients from all walks of life.
Outside the office, Dr. McDonald is an outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys photography, hiking, snowboarding, and has recently taken up pickleball and golf. He is excited to be a part of the Pritchett Eye Care team and looks forward to building lasting relationships with his patients.
